Love, Death & Destiny
November 24 @ 2:00 PM - 4:00 PM UTC+10
The musicians of the Inner West Symphony Orchestra invite you to share in an evocative program of love, death and destiny in the third and final presentation of our debut season.
Experience the emotional turbulence of Prokofiev’s ‘Romeo and Juliet’, be transported through Mussorgsky’s harrowing ‘Night on Bald Mountain’ and feel the power and allure of two breathtaking overtures: Verdi’s ‘La Forza Del Destino’ and Offenbach’s ‘Orpheus in the Underworld’.
Musically directed by Andrew Leach and Michael Potts, the orchestra will also premiere the work of one of our very own young composers and violinists, Sabrina Yousif.
Join us for an afternoon of musical inspiration and excellence at 2pm, Sunday 24 November at the Williamstown Town Hall, Ferguson Street, Williamstown.
Full-colour programs will be available for sale on the day. We thank you for your support!
