IWSO presents: SYMPHONIC DANCES

The IWSO is bringing 2025 to a red-hot close with an extravaganza of dance music that will take you from 19th-century Bohemia to the streets of 1950s New York.
From the sizzling Latin rhythms of Leonard Bernstein’s ‘Symphonic Dances from West Side Story’ to the exuberant folk melodies of Dvorak’s ‘Slavonic Dances’, this season finale is going to be a foot-tapping, finger-snapping delight from start to finish.
Rounding out our program will be perennial favourites Elgar’s ‘Pomp and Circumstance No. 4’ and Brahms’ ‘Hungarian Dance No. 5’.
Come along and join us for a night of inner westside symphonic dance!
Doors open at 6:30 pm. Concert starts at 7 pm and includes an interval.
